Students have unique experiences with school, but parents looking for help often make one of a few common observations:
"My son/daughter has always struggled with math, and this year feels miserable."
or
"My son/daughter has never struggled with math, until this year."
or
"My son/daughter usually excels in math, but has become bored and lost interest."
or
"My son/daughter will be taking the SAT (or ACT) test for college. What kind of preparation is available?"
or sometimes
"My son/daughter is fine, but I'm going back to school and my skills are rusty. Do you work with adults?"
Do any of these sound familiar? I'm ready to help. Please call for a free appointment so we may discuss how best to address your learning goals. We offer private, individual tutoring, not small group sessions like the large national franchise "centers". We offer the best value as well. Excellence and affordability at rates typically half of theirs - or less!
I feel the only thing better than working with kids is working with families. Parents are encouraged to stay and observe their student's learning, just as you might like to stay at a music lesson. Kids usually enjoy demonstrating their new skills and mastery over new material. Students can make big strides when a teacher helps them build up their strengths and address any weaknesses. Parents, too, find it reassuring to know that tutoring is working and that time is used effectively.
